How our fees are calculated

Our fees are calculated on an hourly basis, according to the seniority of the solicitor handling your case and the complexity of the project. We will provide full details of the hourly rates applicable to your case before commencing any work on your behalf.

All fees are exclusive of VAT and any disbursements, such as medical or interpreter fees. In complex cases, we may need to apply an uplift to the hourly rate, but this will always be discussed and agreed with you in advance.

If we represent you in court proceedings, we will typically charge within the appropriate Guideline Rates band published by His Majesty’s Courts & Tribunals Service. We will advise you of this rate before issuing any proceedings on your behalf.

With residential conveyancing, we can usually agree a fixed fee for the whole project. Following an initial consultation, we will clearly lay out all charges involved.
